§ 11566 Deferred Pumping System Construction

This law says that if part of the San Joaquin Pumping System isn't built yet, the rest of the project should still be built without waiting for that part.

Key Takeaways

  • •If one part of the San Joaquin Pumping System is delayed, the rest of the project should still be built.
  • •The delayed part doesn't stop or slow down the construction of other parts.
  • •This rule helps keep big projects moving forward even if one piece isn't ready yet.

Example

Imagine building a big water system with many parts, like pipes and pumps.

If one part, like a big pump, isn't ready to be built yet, the workers should still build all the other parts like pipes and smaller pumps without waiting.
