§ 75600 Clerical Error Groundwater Charge

Key Takeaways

  • •Small mistakes in names or descriptions on water bills won't cancel the bill.
  • •The bill is still valid if the mistake doesn't hurt the person paying.
  • •Only big mistakes that cause real problems can make a bill invalid.

Example

Your water bill has a typo in your name, like 'Jon' instead of 'John'.

The bill is still valid because the typo doesn't change the fact that you owe money for the water you used.
