§ 6200 Dam Construction Approval

Key Takeaways

  • •You can't start building a new dam or making an old dam bigger without permission.
  • •You must ask the government for approval first and show them your plans.
  • •You have to wait until you get a written 'okay' before you start building.

Example

A farmer wants to build a big dam on their land to store more water for their crops.

The farmer can't just start building. They have to send their plans to the government and wait for a written approval. If they start building without this approval, they are breaking the law.
