§ 2826 Supplemental Decree Notice Requirement

Key Takeaways

  • •If the board makes a new or changed decision about a right, they must tell everyone who might be affected.
  • •They have to send a copy of the new decision and a notice to the last known address of each person involved.
  • •This is to make sure everyone knows about the changes and can act if needed.

Example

Imagine you and your neighbors share a well for water. The board decides to change how much water each person can use.

The board must send you and your neighbors a copy of the new rules and a note saying the rules have changed. This way, everyone knows and can follow the new rules.
