§ 2769 Water Right Decree Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •This law is about who gets to use water and how.
  • •It says exactly when, where, and how much water each person can use.
  • •If water is for farming, it also says which specific land can use that water.
  • •The rules are written down clearly so everyone knows their share.

Example

A farmer and a factory both want to use water from the same river.

The law decides who gets the water first, how much each can take, and when they can use it. If the farmer uses water for crops, the law also says which fields can use that water.
