Key Takeaways

  • •Car verifiers must keep records of every car they check.
  • •The records must include your name, car details, and the fee you paid.
  • •The police can look at these records anytime.

Example

You take your car to a shop to get it checked for registration.

The shop must write down your name, your car's details, and how much you paid. If the police ask, the shop has to show them these notes.
