§ 91040 Annexation Proceedings Validity Deadline

Key Takeaways

  • •If a piece of land is added to a district, people only have three months to challenge it.
  • •After three months, no one can complain or try to stop it in court.
  • •This rule is about making sure things don’t get messy later on.

Example

A small town adds a new neighborhood to its school district.

If someone doesn’t like this change, they have to speak up in court within three months. If they wait longer, they can’t complain anymore.
