§ 27111 Annexation Proceedings Validity Deadline

Key Takeaways

  • •If a piece of land gets added to a district, people only have three months to complain about it.
  • •After three months, no one can challenge the decision anymore.
  • •This rule is about making sure things don’t get messy later on.

Example

A small town decides to add a nearby farm to its school district.

If the farm owner doesn’t like this, they have to speak up within three months. If they wait longer, they can’t fight it anymore.
