§ 7678 Train Crossing Warning Requirements

• •If you're driving a train, you must ring the bell or blow the whistle before crossing any road.
• •You have to start ringing or blowing at least 1,320 feet (about 4 football fields) away from the crossing.
• •You must keep ringing or blowing until the front of the train has completely passed through the crossing.
• •If you don't do this, you can be charged with a crime called a misdemeanor.
