§ 407 Fee Refund Authorization

• •If you paid a fee by mistake, you can get your money back.
• •The government has to fix it if they took money they shouldn’t have.
• •This only works for fees mentioned in this part of the law.

You pay a $50 fee for a park permit, but later find out the fee was supposed to be $30.

The government has to give you the extra $20 back because they took too much by mistake.
