§ 40605 Contract Consolidation Approval

Key Takeaways

  • •The board listens to everyone's opinions about a contract.
  • •The board decides if the contract is good or not.
  • •If people don't like the contract, the board listens to their complaints.

Example

Imagine your school wants to merge with another school. They have a contract saying how it will work.

The school board will listen to teachers, parents, and students. If some parents don’t like the plan, the board will hear their concerns and then decide if the merge happens or not.
