§ 3347 Authority Effectiveness Evaluation

Key Takeaways

  • •The Bureau of State Audits checks if the authority is doing its job well.
  • •They decide if the authority is still needed after January 1, 2007.
  • •They must send their report to the Governor and Legislature by January 1, 2005.

Example

Imagine a school club that was created to help students with homework. After a few years, the school wants to check if the club is still helpful.

The Bureau of State Audits is like the school checking the club. They look at how well the club is working and decide if it should keep running or not. Then, they tell the principal (Governor) and the school board (Legislature) what they found.
