§ 31405 District Annexation Certification

Upon the filing in his or her office of the certificate of proceedings, the Secretary of State shall, within 10 days, issue a certificate, reciting the filing of those papers in his or her office and the annexation of the corporate area of the city as of the date of the election or the unincorporated county territory to the district. The Secretary of State shall transmit the original of the certificate to the secretary of the district and shall forward a certified copy thereof to the county elections official of each county in which the district or any portion thereof is situated. (Amended by Stats. 2002, Ch. 221, Sec. 105. Effective January 1, 2003.)
