§ 30250 Director Oath Requirements

• •Before starting their job, each director must promise to do their job honestly and fairly.
• •This promise must be sent to the Secretary of State.
• •A copy of this promise must also be given to the secretary of the district where the director works.

Imagine you get elected to be on the school board.

Before you can start making decisions for the school, you have to promise to do your job the right way. You send this promise to the state government and also give a copy to the school district office.
