§ 11863 Director Terms Commencement

Directors elected at the formation election shall enter upon their official duties immediately upon the filing of the order declaring the result of the election with the Secretary of State, after qualifying according to law. The terms of directors elected after the formation election shall commence on the first day of January next following their election. (Amended by Stats. 1985, Ch. 985, Sec. 25.)
