§ 30204 Director Removal And Terms

Key Takeaways

  • •People on the board can be removed anytime by whoever picked them.
  • •If a board member is also on the County Board or City Council and loses that job, they automatically leave the board.
  • •If a board member is not on those groups, they stay until their term ends.

Example

A person is on the board and also works for the City Council. If they lose their City Council job, they must leave the board too.

The law says if you're on both the board and the City Council or County Board, losing your job in one means you can't stay on the board.
