§ 29523 District Boundary Agreement Approval

Key Takeaways

  • •If you don't speak up in writing about a plan to change the district's boundaries, it means you agree with it.
  • •The board will listen to complaints and decide if the plan should happen.
  • •If you don't say anything, they'll assume you're okay with the changes.

Example

Your neighborhood is part of a school district, and the board wants to change the boundaries so your kid goes to a different school.

If you don’t write to the board saying you don’t like the change, they’ll think you’re fine with it and your kid will go to the new school.
