§ 125524 Mediation Request Procedures

Key Takeaways

  • •If bosses and workers can't agree on pay, work hours, or other job stuff, they can ask the state for help.
  • •The state will send someone to help them talk and find a solution.
  • •This is only if they've tried talking for a while and still can't agree.

Example

Teachers and the school district can't agree on how much teachers should be paid.

If they keep arguing and can't figure it out, they can ask the state to send someone to help them talk it out and make a deal.
