§ 54 Military Department Fund Transfers

This law says that any leftover money meant for the Adjutant General, National Guard, or similar groups can be used by the Adjutant General for the Military Department if it's not needed elsewhere.

Key Takeaways

  • •Leftover money from certain military groups can be used by the Adjutant General for the Military Department.
  • •This only happens if the original group doesn't need the money.
  • •Other funds for these groups are not affected by this rule.

Example

The National Guard has some money left over from their budget.

Instead of letting that money go to waste, the Adjutant General can use it for the Military Department if they need it.
