§ 80760 State Environmental Insurance Provider

(a) The secretary shall select one or more insurance companies that have submitted a proposal pursuant to Section 80750 to be the exclusive state-designated provider of environmental insurance under this chapter for a period of three years from the date of selection. (b) The secretary shall select a company that, in the secretary’s determination, has submitted a proposal that best meets the requirements of this chapter and the objectives stated in the request for proposal at the best possible price. (Added by Stats. 2022, Ch. 257, Sec. 2. (AB 2293) Effective January 1, 2023. Operative January 1, 2024, pursuant to Sec. 4 of Stats. 2022, Ch. 257.)
