§ 80605 Response Action Reporting Requirements

• •The regional board or local agency must tell the state department every year about the progress of cleaning up a polluted site.
• •They must also tell the state department when the cleanup is completely done.
• •If there are any rules about how the land can be used after cleanup, they must share that too.

A factory polluted the ground with chemicals, and the local agency is in charge of cleaning it up.

The local agency must send a yearly update to the state about how the cleanup is going. When the cleanup is finished, they must tell the state. If the land can’t be used for farming anymore because of the chemicals, they have to include that in their report.
