§ 80410 Brownfield Loan Approval Criteria

Key Takeaways

  • •The government decides if you can get a loan for a property.
  • •They only give loans for properties that are either polluted (brownfield) or not being used well (underutilized).
  • •You have to give them info about the property first.

Example

You want to buy an old, empty factory that hasn’t been used in years.

The government will check if the factory is polluted or just sitting empty. If it is, they might give you a loan to fix it up.
