§ 39040 Vehicle Pollution Control Devices

“Motor vehicle pollution control device” means equipment designed for installation on a motor vehicle for the purpose of reducing the air contaminants emitted from the vehicle, or a system or engine modification on a motor vehicle which causes a reduction of air contaminants emitted from the vehicle. (Added by Stats. 1975, Ch. 957.)
