§ 34363 Authority Bond Covenant Powers

Key Takeaways

  • •The government can make promises about how they will use their property (like buildings or equipment).
  • •They can also promise to take care of their property, fix it if it breaks, and have insurance for it.
  • •If they break a promise, they can decide what happens next, like how to fix it or who is responsible.
  • •They can set rules for when they have to pay back money early if something goes wrong.

Example

A city promises to keep a park clean and safe for kids to play in.

If the city doesn’t keep the park clean or safe, they have to follow the rules they set, like fixing broken swings or paying for damages.
