§ 32356 Hospital District Loan Repayment

Key Takeaways

  • •If a hospital district gets money from the state, they have to pay it back like any other debt.
  • •The rules for paying back money the hospital owes (like if someone sues them) also apply to paying back state loans.
  • •This law makes sure hospital districts treat state loans the same as other money they owe.

Example

A hospital district borrows money from the state to buy new equipment.

If the hospital gets sued and has to pay someone, they must also pay back the state loan using the same rules.
