§ 26133 Mold Remediation Standards Adoption

Key Takeaways

  • •The government can look at rules made by experts (like the EPA) about how to clean up mold.
  • •They can decide to use those same rules in California instead of making new ones.
  • •This helps make sure mold cleanup is done safely and the same way across the country.

Example

If your house has mold after a water leak, the people who clean it up must follow safety rules.

The government can use the same mold cleanup rules that experts like the EPA recommend, so the cleanup is done right and keeps people safe.
