§ 131055 Existing Regulations Enforcement

Key Takeaways

  • •Old health rules stay in place until changed or expired.
  • •Money and stuff from the old health department go to the new one.
  • •Workers from the old health department keep their jobs in the new one.

Example

If the old health department had a rule about how restaurants must store food, that rule stays the same until the new health department changes it.

The new health department takes over the old rules, money, and workers, so things keep running smoothly without big changes right away.
