§ 128052 Healthcare Workforce Annual Report

Key Takeaways

  • •The government makes a yearly report about health care jobs in California.
  • •The report shows where there are not enough health care workers and what jobs are needed most.
  • •It suggests ways to fix shortages, like training more workers in certain areas.
  • •The report also checks if programs to train health care workers are working well.

Example

Imagine a small town where there are not enough nurses, and people have to drive far to see a doctor.

The report would show this problem and suggest ideas like opening a nursing school nearby or giving money to train more nurses.
