§ 124995 Hereditary Disorder Program Compliance

The following programs shall comply with the regulations established pursuant to the Hereditary Disorders Act, as defined in Section 27: (a)  The California Children’s Services Program under Article 5 (commencing with Section 123800) of Chapter 3 of Part 2. (b)  Prenatal testing programs for newborns under Sections 125050 to 125065, inclusive. (c)  Medical testing programs for newborns under the Maternal and Child Health Program Act, as defined in Section 27. (d)  Programs of the genetic disease unit under Section 125000. (e)  Child health and disability prevention programs under Article 6 (commencing with Section 124025) of Chapter 3 of Part 2 and Section 120475. (f)  Genetically Handicapped Persons Program under Article 1 (commencing with Section 125125) of Chapter 2. (g)  Medi-Cal Benefits Program under Article 4 (commencing with Section 14131) of Chapter 7 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Welfare and Institutions Code. (Amended by Stats. 2015, Ch. 303, Sec. 352. (AB 731) Effective January 1, 2016.)
