§ 120142 Tuberculosis Examination Orders

Key Takeaways

  • •The health boss can make people get checked for tuberculosis (TB) if they were near someone sick with it.
  • •The health boss can also make other people get checked if they think those people might have been around TB.
  • •If you get an order to get checked for TB, it will be in writing and will tell you what you need to do.

Example

If your friend gets really sick with tuberculosis and you hang out with them a lot, the health boss might tell you to go to the doctor to get checked for TB too.

This is to make sure you don’t have TB and to stop it from spreading to even more people.
