§ 114975 Rulemaking Procedures Compliance

Key Takeaways

  • •This law says that any new rules made under this part of the law must follow a specific process.
  • •The process includes following rules from another part of the law called Chapter 3.5.
  • •It also has to follow two other specific laws: Sections 25733 and 114920.

Example

Imagine your school wants to make a new rule about what kind of snacks you can bring to lunch.

The school can't just make up the rule on the spot. They have to follow certain steps, like asking for opinions and making sure the rule is fair. This law is like that but for bigger rules that affect more people.
