§ 112450 Food Warehouse Inspections

Key Takeaways

  • •The government checks cold storage places where food is kept to make sure they follow the rules.
  • •They can look at the food going in and out to keep things safe.
  • •This is to make sure food stays good and doesn't make people sick.

Example

A big warehouse stores ice cream and frozen pizzas for grocery stores.

The government will come to check if the freezers are working right and if the food is stored safely. If the freezers are broken and the ice cream melts, the warehouse could get in trouble.
