§ 111830 Probation Costs For Violations

Upon conviction of any violation of this part, or any regulation adopted pursuant to this part, the court may require, as a condition of probation under Section 1203.1 of the Penal Code, that the defendant pay to the department the reasonable costs incurred by the department in investigating and prosecuting the action, including, but not limited to, the costs of storage and testing. This payment shall be in addition to any other costs that a court is authorized to require a defendant to pay under Section 1203.1 of the Penal Code. (Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 6. Effective January 1, 1996.)
