§ 111290 Drug Device Adulteration Standards

Key Takeaways

  • •It's illegal to mix bad stuff into medicine or medical tools to make them weaker or worse.
  • •You can't swap out good medicine or tools with fake or lower-quality ones.
  • •This rule is about keeping medicine and medical tools safe and strong.

Example

A company sells painkillers but mixes in cheap, harmless powder to make more pills without telling anyone.

This is breaking the law because the pills are not as strong as they should be, and people might not get the help they need.
