§ 111165 Bottled Water Testing Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •Only special labs can test bottled water and other drinking water sources.
  • •These labs must be approved by the government or other trusted groups.
  • •This rule makes sure the water you drink is safe and tested the right way.

Example

If you buy a bottle of water from the store, the company that made it must have it tested by an approved lab to make sure it's clean and safe to drink.

The law says that only certain labs can test the water. This way, you know the water you're drinking has been checked properly.
