§ 110035 Existing Regulations Continuation

This law says old rules about food, drugs, devices, and makeup stay in place until new rules are made to replace them.

Key Takeaways

  • •Old rules don’t disappear just because a new law is passed.
  • •The government has to make new rules to replace the old ones.
  • •Until then, everyone must still follow the old rules.

Example

A rule from 1990 says all bread must list its ingredients on the package.

Even if a new law is passed in 2023, the old bread rule stays until the government makes a new rule about it.
