§ 722 Broker License Renewal Periods

• •Initial licenses are valid for one year.
• •Renewals are granted for two-year periods.
• •Renewal requires filing an application and paying the fee.

A real estate broker whose license expires can apply to renew it for another two years by submitting the renewal form and paying the fee.

If the broker files the renewal application before the current one-year license ends and pays the required fee, the state will issue a new license that is good for two years.
