§ 717 Broker License Application

You must fill out a broker license application on the department's forms, sign it, and pay the exam fee.

Key Takeaways

  • •Use the department's official forms.
  • •Sign the application.
  • •Include the broker license examination fee.

Example

John wants to become a real estate broker. He fills out the department's application, signs it, and sends it with the exam fee.

The law requires the application to be on the department's forms, signed by John, and include the exam fee, so he can't get his license until he does all three.
