§ 1154 Board Administrative Powers

A city’s housing board wants to set new safety standards for apartment inspections.

Because the law gives the board the power to make and enforce rules for the division, the board can write those safety standards, as long as it follows the proper rule‑making steps. The Secretary of Business, Transportation and Housing would handle any duties that the law says belong to that office, not the board.
