§ 65031 Governor'S Environmental Policy Oversight

Key Takeaways

  • •The Governor is in charge of making sure California's environmental goals and plans are followed.
  • •A special team that reports directly to the Governor is responsible for checking and improving these plans.
  • •This team makes sure everything runs smoothly and stays on track.

Example

Imagine California wants to plant more trees to keep the air clean.

The Governor’s team would be responsible for making sure this plan is followed. They would check if the plan is working, like counting how many trees are planted each year and making sure cities are doing their part. If something goes wrong, they would fix it.
