§ 57460 Revenue Enterprise Distribution Rules

• •If multiple cities or counties are supposed to get money from something that makes money (like a toll road or a parking garage), but the money can't be split up yet because of another rule, the group in charge keeps control of it.
• •The group in charge keeps all the money made by that thing until all the debts (like loans or contracts) are paid off.
• •Once all the debts are paid, the group in charge can finally split up the money and the thing that makes money, following the rules in Section 57457.

Imagine a toll bridge that makes money from drivers paying tolls. Three cities were supposed to get a share of this money, but there’s a rule saying they can’t split it yet.

The group managing the bridge keeps all the toll money until they pay off the loans used to build the bridge. Once the loans are paid, they can finally split the bridge and its money between the three cities, as the rules say.
