§ 32352 Disability Retirement For Firefighters

• •If you get hurt or sick because of your job as a firefighter or forester, you can retire early, no matter your age or how long you've worked.
• •If you get sick or hurt in a way that's not because of your job, you can still retire early, but only if you've worked for at least 10 years.
• •A special group decides if you're too hurt or sick to keep working.
