§ 32027 Retirement System Election Payments

• •If you choose to join this system, you get all the money you're owed from any other system.
• •The money is given to you like you're leaving the job.
• •There's an exception mentioned in Section 32028.

Imagine you have money saved in a retirement plan from an old job. You decide to join a new retirement plan.

The new plan will give you all the money from your old plan, just like you quit your job. But there might be some special rules in Section 32028.
