§ 26025 City Aid Usage Requirement

• •The city must use all the money it gets for the projects it promised.
• •If the city doesn't use all the money, it has to give the extra back to the county.
• •The city can't keep money it didn't use for the right things.

The city gets $100,000 to fix potholes on Main Street.

If the city only spends $80,000 on fixing the potholes, it must give the remaining $20,000 back to the county. It can't use that $20,000 for something else, like building a new park.
