§ 25695 Water System Control Transfer

Key Takeaways

  • •When a water system is built or fixed up, the local leaders (board of supervisors) are in charge of it.
  • •The leaders decide when the water system is ready to use.
  • •Once they say it's ready, they take over running it.

Example

A small town builds a new water tower and pipes to give clean water to everyone.

After the water tower and pipes are all set up, the town leaders check everything. If they say it’s good to go, they start managing it—like making sure water keeps flowing and fixing any leaks.
