§ 25367 County Easement Vacation Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •The county can remove old rules that stop people from building things in certain areas.
  • •This only happens if the county decides these rules aren't needed anymore.
  • •These rules were made to keep spaces open for light, air, or other reasons.

Example

There's an empty lot in town where no one was allowed to build a tall building because of an old rule to keep the area open for light and air.

If the county decides that rule isn't needed anymore, they can remove it. Then, someone could build a tall building there.
