§ 25359 Prisoner Work Program Rules

The board may provide for the working of prisoners confined in the county jail under judgment of conviction of misdemeanors, under the direction of a responsible person appointed by the sheriff, upon the public grounds, roads, streets, alleys, highways, firebreaks, fire roads, riding or hiking trails, or public buildings, or in such other places as are deemed advisable, for the benefit of the public. (Amended by Stats. 1959, Ch. 1980.)
