§ 23554 County Election Voter Eligibility

• •You can vote in the election if you've been registered in the county for at least 30 days before the election.
• •You must register or update your registration by the same deadline as for a regular big election in the state.
• •If you don’t register or update your registration on time, you can’t vote in this election.

If you move to a new county and want to vote in the next local election.

You must register to vote in your new county at least 30 days before the election. If you wait until 20 days before, you won’t be allowed to vote this time.
