§ 19763 Unauthorized Position Payment Prohibition

Key Takeaways

  • •If a job is given to someone the wrong way, the person in charge can't pay them.
  • •The person can only get paid if a court says it's okay.
  • •This rule is to make sure jobs are given fairly.

Example

A boss gives a job to their friend instead of the person who should have gotten it.

The boss can't pay the friend until a court says it's okay. This makes sure jobs are given the right way.
