§ 15169 Peace Officer Background Checks

Notwithstanding any other law, the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, or other persons identified in subdivision (a) of Section 13503.1 of the Penal Code for whom background checks have been completed pursuant to that section and whose duties require access, may inspect or duplicate any information derived from the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System when the commission deems the information necessary to fulfill its duties. (Added by Stats. 2025, Ch. 32, Sec. 1. (AB 354) Effective July 14, 2025.)
